Emergency Support
+- UC Berkeley Emergency Housing: Short-term emergency housing for students facing an imminent loss of housing, or who are currently unhoused.
- UCSF Rapid Rehousing: Funding awarded to students with the greatest financial need, with the goal of helping students secure, support, and prevent imminent loss of housing.
- UC Berkeley Emergency Fund: The Basic Needs Center offers emergency financial assistance in the areas of rent, food, housing security deposit and other emergency and safety needs to enrolled students who have exhausted their financial resources.
- UCSF Emergency Funding/Financial Services: In a financial emergency, students may be able to obtain a short-term emergency loan. This loan must be repaid within a specified time period (generally three months) so other needy students can benefit from these limited funds.

+- UC Berkeley Basic Needs Center: The Basic Needs Center acts as a virtual and physical hub that provides and connects students to essential services that impact health, belonging, and overall well-being, including food security, housing security, and financial stability.
- UCSF Basic Needs Center: Through a robust model of prevention, intervention, and emergency relief, Basic Needs connects students to critical on- and off-campus resources and provides educational opportunities for students to take personal responsibility for their wellness. Services include the Student Food Market and other food security resources.

- Berkeley International Office Need-Based Medical Fund: This award of $1000 is to help international students who experience unanticipated medical costs.

- Counseling and Psychiatry Services: UCSF counseling and psychiatry services, adjusted to meet the immediate needs of students and to preserve the health of students and staff. Next day booked appointments may be available.
