Faculty Recruitment
The Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology and the UCSF UC Berkeley Joint Program in Computational Precision Health (CPH) invite scientist or physician-scientist applicants with a research program in signal processing and analyses of biosignals or other signals with techniques that are applicable to human biosignals (e.g. electrocardiograms, photoplethysmography or other signals) for a faculty position.
Candidates with research programs focused on cardiovascular disease or cardiovascular signals are preferred, with an emphasis on developing and utilizing signal processing techniques to understand cardiovascular physiology, identify cardiovascular risk, phenotyping disease, or developing novel or improving existing diagnostic tests. The successful applicant would join the vibrant and growing CPH program, which includes a PhD training program and brings together the world-class expertise and computational resources of both UCSF and UC Berkeley. Successful applicants would also be joining the Center for Biosignal Research in the UCSF Division of Cardiology and a robust research infrastructure within Cardiology at UCSF.
